Ceramic mug celebrating the incomparable M2 Building in Tokyo by Kengo Kuma, 1991 Kuma’s M2 building is probably the most famous building that emerged from the logic-defying era of Japanese bubble architecture during the 1980s stock market boom. Created as a design laboratory and spectacular sales centre for the Japanese car company, the architect had an eye watering budget and creative free reign, creating one of the strangest pieces of postmodern (and maybe of all architecture) architecture the world has ever seen, which we celebrate here with these gorgeous mugs...
